GlobCover V.2.2 now available!
2008-12-10 The latest GlobCover V.2.2 Land Cover mosaic is now available with the Product Description and Validation Report.
The GlobCover V.2.2 global land cover mosaic was released, accompanied by the Product Description and Validation Report. The product consists of one global land cover mosaic and eleven regional land cover mosaics.
The products are freely available for any non-commercial use. The new release clarifies the reported issues regarding the mapcode of some pixels by dividing the legend into global and regional. The relevant legends as well as color maps are also provided.
The product is available through the ftp links provided in the Ionia GlobCover homepage.
